Email updates privacy notice

Email signup is optional and separate from research access. We use your email address to send a confirmation link and, only after you confirm, occasional Kinetix Peps updates.

What we keep

The private signup service stores your email address, the version and time of your consent request, and your confirmation or unsubscribe status. It also stores confirmation records and a temporary hashed identifier derived from your connection address to limit repeated requests. The website and signup service are hosted by Render; Resend delivers signup and update emails.

How long we keep it

Confirmation links expire after one day. Unconfirmed requests are scheduled for removal after seven days, and the temporary request-limit records after one day. Confirmed subscriptions remain until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove your address. An unsubscribed address stays in a suppression record so it is not sent further updates.

Our private backup copies of signup records are scheduled for deletion after 30 days. A removed address may remain in an earlier backup until that copy is deleted; backups are not used for routine email sending.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe using the link in any update email. To request removal of your signup record, email kinetixpeps@gmail.com.
